The Secret History of the Pink Carnation

The Secret History of the Pink Carnation - Lauren Willig I was surprised by many aspects of the book. First, the various romances and character types.woven throughout the novel. Willing does an amazing job of.creating believable and highly realistic characters. Second, I.was surprised by the humor and wit contained both in dialogue and Eloise's mind. This made the book so much more enjoyable. Third, the physical/sexual content and implications were unexpected, but didn't take away from the story at all. If, however, you're bothered by reading that kind of thing, this book may not be for you. If not, then read on!
